Subnautica is a game series where you have to survive on an ocean planet while discovering new creatures, locations, and research.
Subnautica
In Subnautica, your ship was shot down, and you are stranded on the ocean planet 4546B. You have to survive and find a way to escape it while researching the reason why you were shot down in the first place.
The game features tons of creatures, ranging from friendly creatures you can catch and make into food to creatures that will attack you on sight and can destroy your vehicles. The game is playable on PC, Mac, Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and mobile.

The vehicles in this game offer many different uses: The Seamoth is a fast and nimble submarine. The Cyclops is a massive submarine that can be turned into a mobile base. The Prawn Suit is a mech that can be used to drill large resource deposits and travel to the deepest locations in the game.
Subnautica Below Zero
Subnautica: Below Zero is a spin-off/sequel to the original game. You play as a xenologist who goes to 4546B to investigate the mystery behind her sister’s death.
The area of the map of this game is smaller than the original game’s, and the depths are not as deep, but it features more land sections. The game is playable on PC, Mac, Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

The game features new biomes, most of which are unique compared to the biomes in the first game.
The vehicles in this game are different from those in the first game, and they were designed to fit the environment better. The Seatruck is a submarine that combines the Seamoth and the Cyclops to fit the smaller map because you can customise its size. The Prawn Suit returns, but with a lower crush depth since the map is not as deep. The Snowfox is a bike that can be used to traverse the land sections.
