What is Breath of the Wild?
Breath of the Wild is and open world game that takes place in the kingdom of Hyrule 100 years after an event called the Great Calamity. Link wakes up from his coma and his job is to defeat Calamity Ganon and save Hyrule. The game is currently the 24th best-selling game of all time. The game is playable on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
Gameplay
You can literally go anywhere, climb anywhere, and do the story in any order you want. After the tutorial, you can even go straight to the final boss if you want to. There a huge variety of enemies to fight, resources to collect, and weapons to use. The weapons in this game have limited durability, so it encourages players to be strategic about using them.

World
The kingdom is vast. There are towers players can climb up and when activated, new sections of the map will become visible. You can discover over a hundred shrines and inside them are essentially mini dungeons with puzzles you have to solve. Completing shrines can help you upgrade your health and stamina. There are also 900 Korok seeds scattered throughout the world that you can use to upgrade your inventory.
