What is Persona?
Persona is an RPG game series where you play as high school students and you have to try to balance your regular social life with fighting creatures called shadows.
Persona 3
Persona 3 features an apathetic protagonist who joins a team to investigate a mysterious event called the Dark Hour.
In this game, you adventure through Tartarus, a giant labyrinth with hundreds of floors.
The game has 4 versions:
The original Persona 3 released for the PS2.
The enhanced version Persona 3: FES released for the PS2 and PS3.
The portable versiona Persona 3: Portable originally released for the PSP but was later ported to PC, PS4, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
The remake Persona 3: Reload released for PC, Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Gallery
Though Persona 3 released before Persona 5, the remake Persona 3 Reload came after it. It made major improvements in terms of the character models and was also a great evolution in terms of UI design.
Persona 4
Persona 4 features a protagonist who moves into a small town and becomes involved in drama about mysterious murders.
In this game, you enter the TV world in order to save people from these murders.
The game has 2 versions as of now:
The original Persona 4 released for the PS2.
The enhanced version Persona 4: Golden originally released for the PS Vita and was later ported to PC, PS4, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
The remake Persona 4: Revival is currently in development and will be released for PC, Xbox and PS5.

Though Persona 4 Golden was older than the other 2 games, the visuals still hold up until this day. Though it seems that Persona 4 Revival will be improving on the other 2 installments.
Persona 5
Persona 5 is a game where the protagonist is under probation and transfers to another school and forms a group of vigilantes.
In this game, you explore dungeons called Palaces and a massive labyrinth called Mementos in order to changes people’s hearts.
The game has 2 versions:
The original Persona 5 released for the PS3 and PS4
The enhanced version Persona 5: Royal released for the PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
Gallery
Persona 5 was a huge step up from previous games. Featuring not only more engaging gameplay in terms of dungeon crawling, but also a unique UI design that makes it stand out from other RPG games.
