No Man’s Sky
What is No Man’s Sky?
No Man’s Sky is an open world space adventure game with procedurally generated galaxies. Although it was underwhelming when it released due to lacking a lot of promised features, it has since received tons of quality updates that brought the missing features as well as new features that weren’t initially promised which made a lot of people go back and play it. The game is playable on PC, Mac, Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Gameplay
There are 256 unique galaxies and more than 18 quintillion possible planets in this game. Since the galaxies are procedurally generated, all the planets will have a lot of variety in terms of landscape, creatures, and weather. There are also tons of ways you can interact with the galaxy and tons of things you can discover just by traveling from one planet to the next. You can scavenge ship wreckages for resources. You can enter a space battle between and help out civilians who are being attacked. You can even find black holes that can take you to another system that’s on another side of the galaxies.
Another great thing about this game is the immersion. You can enter a planet and land your ship anywhere you want, which makes you really feel like you’re on a space adventure.
